How to Feel Confident Charging for What You’re Good At
Why Ease, Alignment and Energy Are the Real Indicators of Value
There are times when I genuinely pinch myself that this is what I get to do every day.
Because I love business and the impact we can make with it.
I love reading people and understanding the structure in their thinking, seeing exactly where things are out of alignment and what needs to shift so everything starts working again.
It’s fascinating to me and it’s something I can do intuitively.
That’s not to say the depth I go to with my clients doesn’t take focus and energy, it absolutely does, but there’s no resistance in it.
It feels like I was born for this.
My lifelong fascination with helping people, business and money has led me right here, doing work that feels effortless and deeply fulfilling at the same time.
And that’s why I smile every time someone says to me,
“It just feels weird to charge for something that comes so easily.”
Because that’s exactly why you should charge for it.
The Ease Paradox
Ease doesn’t mean something lacks value, it’s usually the greatest indicator of mastery and alignment.
We live in a culture that glorifies struggle, but in reality, people don’t want to pay someone who’s forcing their way through something they dislike.
They want to pay the person who finds it natural.
Who lights up when they talk about it.
Whose energy feels confident, clear and safe.
That’s what people respond to.
That’s what they trust.
And that’s what they’re really paying for.
Ease is the evidence that you’ve integrated your skill at the deepest level. It’s no longer something you do, it’s who you are.
The Results Triangle
There are three levers that influence every result:
Speed, Quality, and Cost.
When someone invests in you, they’re choosing to influence one and often all, of these levers.
Speed: They want to move faster. Not by pushing harder, but by reducing resistance and confusion. They pay you to shorten the gap between knowing and doing.
Quality: They want to do it better. To refine what they’re already doing and produce results that are stronger, cleaner and more aligned.
Cost: They want to avoid the hidden cost of doing it all alone, the cost of hesitation, missed opportunities and self-doubt.
When someone pays you, they’re not buying hours of your time. They’re buying efficiency, precision and the confidence that comes from being supported.
What People Are Really Paying For
Most people assume others pay for knowledge or expertise, but it’s much deeper than that.
They pay for accountability, because they know they’ll follow through when someone’s watching.
They pay for clarity, because confusion is expensive.
They pay for peace of mind, because having someone in their corner brings calm and direction.
They pay for connection and community, because growth can feel lonely.
They pay because they love learning and being in an environment of growth feels good.
They pay because they feel safe with you and safety is the foundation of transformation.
They pay for your energy and environment, because your presence activates them into action.
They pay for empowerment, because investing in themselves feels expansive.
And ultimately, they pay for who they become in the process.
The Energy Behind Your Value
People aren’t just paying for your time or your tools, they’re paying for your neurology.
Your unique blueprint.
The way you think, feel and process information.
Your frequency, your experience and your ability to hold space for growth and possibility.
Two people can have the same skill, but the right client will always be drawn to you because your energy, perspective and presence feel like the right fit.
That’s resonance.
It’s not about logic. It’s about alignment.
The Truth About Ease and Value
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “This seems so easy to me, I feel bad charging for it,” remember this:
Ease is a reflection of how aligned you are with your purpose.
The easier it feels for you, the more valuable it is for someone else.
What feels effortless to you often feels impossible to them until they experience it through your guidance.
You’re not charging for how hard something is.
You’re charging for the transformation that only you can facilitate through your energy, expertise, and embodied mastery.
