How Good Can You Allow Your Business to Feel

How Good Can You Allow Your Business to Feel

Every business owner has goals.

You want more clients, income, freedom or a bigger impact. You spend a lot of time thinking about how to achieve those things, yet do you ever stop to ask yourself why you want them in the first place?

More often than not, the answer is a feeling.

You imagine more income will bring peace. More clients will give you confidence. More freedom will create ease. Your business becomes the vehicle for the way you hope life will eventually feel.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately because it's one of the biggest shifts I see in the people I work with.

This week's episode is Part 4 of The Turning Point Process™, and it's all about Embody.

Over the past three weeks we've explored Validate, Release and Reclaim. We've looked at understanding your patterns, putting down what you've been carrying and reclaiming what you've always deserved.

Embody is the next step.

Once you've stopped carrying old fears and beliefs, you've created space for something else. What’s interesting to note is there are common emotions that naturally pop up at this point.

Peace, joy, freedom, excitement and ease.

What’s important to note is these aren't emotions that arrive after you've achieved your goals. They're emotions that are the very reason you set the goals in the first place.

One of the things I've learned is that if those feelings never feel safe or familiar, it's easy to keep pushing them into the future. We tell ourselves we'll finally relax when we reach a certain income. We'll feel confident once we've built a bigger audience. We'll enjoy life after we've achieved the next milestone.

Before we know it, we're always waiting.

I remember reaching that point in my own business.

I realised I wasn't chasing another achievement as much as I was craving more spaciousness. I wanted more enjoyment, more freedom and more peace in the way I worked. Once I recognised that, I started making different decisions. I structured my business differently, became more intentional about what I said yes to and created more space for the things that mattered most.

The interesting part was that my business grew alongside those changes.

That's because business has a way of reflecting what's happening internally. The way we lead, the support we allow ourselves to receive, the boundaries we set and the opportunities we're willing to pursue are all influenced by how safe those experiences feel.

When we begin experiencing more peace, confidence or ease now, we stop relying on future success to provide those emotions for us. Instead, we build our business from those feelings, and that changes the way we make decisions every day.

That's what embodiment really is.

It's choosing to experience more of the life you're trying to create while you're creating it.

So I'd love to leave you with one question.

If your business achieved everything you wanted over the next twelve months, how would you hope your life would feel?

Once you've answered that, ask yourself how you could create a little more of that feeling today.

Because your future isn't created by waiting for those emotions to arrive. It's created by allowing yourself to experience them as you build.

In this week's episode, I unpack why every goal has an emotional driver, how our nervous system influences what we're willing to receive and why embodying those feelings can completely change the way you experience business.

If you've been craving a business that feels lighter, more aligned and more enjoyable, I think you'll really connect with this conversation.
